An Architectural Revelation
The approach to the venue is an incomparable experience in itself. As the sun shifts, the mirrored façade reflects the dramatic sandstone cliffs, creating a shimmering illusion that honors the desert rather than deforming it. Acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton has established Maraya Social as AlUla's first permanent fine-dining venture. His Mediterranean heritage is brought to life through a menu that weaves together British and Arabian influences, using seasonal, locally-sourced produce to create dishes with deep intention. The layout encourages a convivial, sharing-plate style of dining, inviting friends and family to connect over a meal that is non-traditional and entirely spectacular.

The Art of the Starter: The Aged Beef Tartare—crafted from Black Angus steak and paired with egg yolk jam and pickled shimeji—offers a rich, modern depth. For a brighter profile, the AlUla Citrus Cured Salmon utilizes local citrus notes balanced by smoked yogurt and a nori crouton.
